The Professional and Scholarly Publishing Division (PSP) of the Association of American Publishers (AAP) awarded Honorable Mention the category of Engineering to Mark Rosheim for his book, Leonardo's Lost Robots published by Springer Science and Business Media.

ASME 2015 Engineer-Historian AWARD for his contributions to the history of robotics as exemplified by his book: Robot Evolution: The Development of Anthrobotics, which explores the history of mechanical automata and robotics from antiquity to circa 1990, and for his later studies of Leonardo da Vinci's work with automata. Robot Evolution published by John Wiley & Sons.

He presented two special guest lectures: Leonardos Lost Robots Tuesday, April 23rd with technical prelude at the Packard Lab Building and evening talk at the Diamond Theater.
