The Technology of Leonardo da Vinci: November 4 through Jan 13 Opening November 4th 6pm - 9pm An Opening Reception will be held at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts the evening of November 4, 2006. In this captivating exhibition, Mark Rosheim shares his collection of rare 19th Century editions of Leonardo da Vinci sketchbooks and his contemporary work in replicating the masteršs designs. Among other scholarly works, Rosheim is the author of Robot Evolution: The Development of Anthrobotics and Leonardo's Lost Robots, a reinterpretation of Leonardo da Vinci's mechanical design work that reveals a new level of sophistication not recognized by art historians or engineers. |
